Alfred Remote serves as a personalized command center for managing Alfred on Mac. Through this app, your iPhone or iPad seamlessly integrates as the ideal companion to your Mac, providing immediate access to a variety of features, commands, and workflows.

For optimal performance, Alfred Remote should operate on the same network as your Mac. While Alfred 4 is recommended for an extensive range of features and the best user experience, Alfred 3.8.6 stands as the minimum requirement.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH REMOTE?

With a single touch on your iOS device, you can efficiently manage numerous Alfred actions on your Mac, including:

<li>Show Alfred on your Mac</li>
<li>Execute System Commands such as Lock, Restart, Shut Down, Log Out, or Sleep your Mac; Eject all devices; Quit all apps and Empty Trash</li>
<li>Launch Applications and System Preferences on your Mac</li>
<li>Access files and folders defined on your Mac</li>
<li>Visit websites and bookmarks or initiate custom searches through Alfred pop-up</li>
<li>Replace challenging hotkey combinations and keywords with intuitive icons on iOS</li>
</ul>

If you are an Alfred 4 or Alfred 3 Powerpack user, you can control Powerpack features like:

<ul>
<li>Promptly paste user-defined clipboard snippets into text fields and documents on your Mac</li>
<li>Run user-defined scripts, AppleScripts, and terminal commands</li>
<li>Manage Music.app on your Mac by playing, skipping tracks, or starting random albums</li>
<li>By integrating Remote with your favorite Alfred workflows, immense possibilities await!</li>

SETTING UP REMOTE

<ol>
<li>Ensure that both your Mac and iOS device are connected to the same network</li>
<li>In Alfred's Remote preferences on Mac, opt for 'Add iOS Remote'</li>
<li>In Alfred Remote on iOS, navigate to the 'Add' screen and locate "Looking for Alfred"</li>
<li>Select your Mac when detected on iOS, then enter the passcode displayed on your Mac</li>
</ol>

Upon completion of these steps, your Mac and iOS device will establish a secure connection granting you instant access to the productivity-boosting features of Alfred!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Alfred Remote acts as a complementary app requiring Alfred on Mac and enabling connectivity from your iPhone/iPad over Wi-Fi:

<li>Alfred Remote is compatible with iPhone & iPad running on iOS 12+</li>
<li>The recommended setup includes Alfred 4 for enhanced features; the minimum requirement is Alfred 3.8.6 on macOS 10.9+ for Mac devices</li>
<li>Your network connectivity should allow both devices to link over Wi-Fi or wired connection</li>
<li>To utilize Alfred's Powerpack functionalities via Remote, ensure you have the Powerpack for Alfred installed on your Mac</li>
